I think one of the problems is the connection between employers and employees. There have already been numerous cases with employers terminating the employment of employees they feel have brought companies into disrepute. This can be via personal views via blogs, Facebook status messages, or Twitter messages.

As much as someone says &quot;This blog reflects my personal views only and not those of my employer&quot;, there&#039;s still no guarantee that this will save someone&#039;s job if they step out of line with a comment (no matter how unwittingly).

Until there is an understanding that certain areas of a person&#039;s life does not reflect their employer&#039;s views, then there will continue to be the issue of having to keep online identities separate.

Of course, owners of their own business can say what they want. But then that opens up a whole other topic of conversation... ;-)]]></description>
